On April 27-28, 2023, the III Congress of Allergologists and Clinical Immunologists and the XXIII National Kazakhstan International Congress "Asthma and Allergy" 2023 were held in Almaty.
A welcoming speech was made by the rector of KazNMU named by S.D. Asfendiyarov Shoranov Marat, President of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Stefano Del Giaссo and Director of the Institute of Allergology Charite Marcus Maurer.
The congress covered the issues of treatment of severe asthma by Professor Stefano del Giaссo, a modern approach to patient monitoring and criteria for successful treatment of Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) by Professor Marcus Maurer, a meeting of the expert council "Practical issues of long-term prevention of HAE in Kazakhstan”, and many other important issues in the field of Allergology and Clinical Immunology.
More than 500 allergologists and clinical immunologists and leading speakers from Europe, Ukraine (Umanets T., Nazarenko A., Bereznaya T.) and Kazakhstan (Ispaeva Zh., Kovzel E., Morenko M., Tusupbekova G.M.) took part in the congress. The Congress was successful and productive.
