The Congress was held under the auspices of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI).
The representative of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Professor Antti Lauerma addressed to the participants of the congress with a welcoming speech. This is an important event for the further development of allergology and clinical immunology KazNMU named by S. D. Asfendiyarov and in particular the Department of Allergology, the initiator of which is the head of the Department of Allergology and Clinical Immunology of KazNMU, Professor Ispayeva Zh.B. There were very interesting reports on the role of molecular allergology in the diagnosis of allergic diseases, which were made by professors: A. Nakonechnaya from the UK “Allergenic Anaphylaxis Molecules” and A.Pampura from Moscow  with “Allergenic molecules of fur animals”.
In welcoming speech, President of the Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, head of the Department of Allergology and Clinical Immunology named by S. D. Asfendiyarov of the Kazakh National Medical University, Chief Children's Allergist of the Republic of Kazakhstan prof. Zh. Ispayeva reported about  a new program, which was published only a week before the congress - GINA 2019. According to official statistics, respiratory diseases are on the 1st place among all diseases in the Republic of Kazakhstan (2.5 million patients). About 1 million people suffer from bronchial asthma, which is widespread among children. The growth of allergic diseases is about 10-15% per year. Therefore, accurate diagnosis, proper treatment and prevention of bronchial asthma is one of the important tasks of practical healthcare in the Republic of Kazakhstan
Professor Kestutis Malakauskas from Kaunas (Lithuania) elaborated on bronchodilator  therapy of bronchial asthma.
A very interesting report on telemedicine in molecular allergology was reported by A.Hill from Austria.
The congress was attended by leading professors, experts of international programs, speakers from Russia (Pampura A., .Khanferyan R., Lopatin A., Fedoskova, I. Korsunskaya), Kazakhstan (Ispayeva Zh., Rozenson R., Morenko M., Kovzel E.,Tusupbekova G., Khairullina Z., Zhautikova B.), which shed light on all aspects of practical allergology and clinical immunology. So, reports were presented on atopic dermatitis, bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, gastrointestinal allergy, antihistamines, the educational process in universities of Kazakhstan and the prospects for the treatment of allergic diseases at the present stage, which is extremely important for practical public healthcare.
The main audience was an audience of narrow specialists, each of whom has a deep understanding of the frequent symptoms of allergic diseases and the pathogenetic mechanisms of the development of allergic rhinitis.
The congress program "Asthma and Allergy" was so universal that it allowed to attract a wide audience of doctors of various specialties: professionals in the field of allergology, pulmonology, dermatology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, therapy and general practitioners.
Each report from the Congress program provoked a lively discussion in the hall, testifying to the high interest of modern doctors of the Republic of Kazakhstan in allergology and immunology - relatively new branches of medical science. At the same time, this suggests that experts do not miss the opportunity to gain new knowledge and exchange experience, especially when there is the possibility of interaction with professionals and world-class researchers.
The opportunity to join the international experience and discuss the main issues in the professional environment is always a significant event for Kazakhstan’s medicine.
At the end of the congress, the results of the poster messages of our young scientists with the presentation of prize places were summed up.
The culmination of the congress was the proposal of professors Antii Lauerma and Hannes Stokinger that Kazakhstan, a country located geographically in both Europe and Asia, can change its position and move to the National European Communities EAACI, which will provide great opportunities for educational and scientific progress in allergology in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The results of these proposals have become a reality.

At the General Assembly of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology on June 2, 2019 in Lisbon, a decision was made to transfer the Kazakhstan Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology to EAACI National Communities. It has already been published on the EAACI website dated 01.07. 2019.
